2006 Lao Man’e Brand “Nannuo Gong Ting” Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake
Description
This is a well-aged Guangdong storage ripe pu-erh tea pressed in 2006 by the Lao Man’e Brand. This is composed of Gong Ting (tippy grade) ripe pu-erh tea harvested from the Nannuo Mountains in Xishuangbanna.
The many years of aging have given this tea an aged ‘chen xiang’ taste and aroma. It also has a fruity sweetness and light hardwood tastes. Although it’s a tippy grade ‘gong ting’ ripe, it can easily be pushed with long steeps (usually after 5 steeps it’s good to brew this for a minute or more). Very infusable ripe with plenty of complexity and mouth-feel.

** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don’t order this tea!
